CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, October 2, 2020 – As prelude to the main event on October 5, the pre-opening of classes kicks off today in all the 14 divisions in Region X.
The simultaneous event is primarily aimed at strengthening the public’s awareness of the opening of the School Year 2020-2021 on October 5 and informing the field of the Department’s readiness and its continuous efforts to ensure the continuity of education amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
DepEd NorMin steps up for RBI
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, July 6, 2020 – Concentrating its efforts on the continuous delivery of quality education in this time of the pandemic, DepEd Region X pushed for the implementation of Radio-Based Instruction (RBI) for distance learning.
As a jumpstart of its Rx ADOBE or Region X Alternative Delivery Of Basic Education, which is captured from the region’s Learning Continuity Plan (LCP), a Webinar on Radio-Based Instruction for Distance Learning was facilitated by the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) on June 24-26.
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, March 24, 2020 – Guided by all relevant directives of the Department and the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), DepEd Region X ensures the safety of all its learners, teachers, and staff through its various initiatives.
During the special management committee meeting with the superintendents of the 14 divisions at the Regional Office (RO), on March 16, Director IV Arturo B. Bayocot, CESO III, directed the schools division offices, district offices, and schools to strategize and contextualize their mechanisms to ensure the safety of everyone.
“As we implement the government’s protocols in keeping everyone safe, we should be able to continue our services. We must, therefore, devise work strategies that will facilitate the full operation of the office while, at the same time, continue to observe all prescribed health protocols,” Bayocot said.
